I wish! I'm growing weary of all the construction walls all around California Adventure.

World of Color should be premiering sometime in the spring. The viewing area is supposed to be done sometime next month.

The sea side tower thingy is already uncovered http://www.twitpic.com/xxumm Only a matter of time before the rest opens up. Yes there are a whole mess of construction walls but remember what is on the other side of all this, a truly remarkable park. I can't wait to see the finished result.

I agree. Even though I live in Florida, but it makes me want to visit again after it all is finished. Can't wait to see what vids hit the net once the World of Color starts. I look forward to that!

I am not doubting that, but it is just this tough period of time from now until all the work is complete. It must be interesting to visit a park in the middle of a major transition but to me it would spoil the magic. I am looking forward to the day this is all done. It looks like it might fix all of disney's mistakes when they first built California Adventure. I do hope to visit it one day after all the work is complete. Also not helping is the seasonal refurbishings and holiday overlay removals that has a lot of the attractions in Disneyland shut down. It must really be the slow season out there!

I have always looked at it differently, Len90. Those same kind of walls at WDW eventually lead to Splash Mountain, Living Seas, Horizons and Mission Space. I think of the walls allows me to use my imagination of things to come. My curiosity is piqued. "What will it be like?" Creates a different magic - fantasizing about the shape of things to come...

Very smart move by Disney to open a central Stroller rental for both parks. Cuts down on overhead costs in the long run. I wonder how much of an effect all of this recent rain is having on the construction projects there. I seriously doubt anything can get done.

I agree. Since the original rental area was small, compact and caused a bit of a traffic jam they really needed a new place to keep it all together. The rain would be bothersome for a lot of things especially the Rivers of America draining. They'd have to re-drain the water depending on how much water fell there.

Interesting update that shows some construction actually still going on with all that rain. Would I be correct in assuming that Disney waited a few months to release these videos since the Orange Stringer is clearly seen in both of them. Definitely enjoyed seeing the videos. It really seems like World of Color is a show that everybody must see.

So far, the World of Color is looking like Fantasmic on a much grander scale. The fountains to me remind me of the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Don't know if I would go that far out and calling it like the Bellagio in Vegas. It definitely seems a lot more complex than that and incorporates more elements like fire. As for the comparison to Fantasmic, I think that you make a point. It does seem like it evolved from Fantasmic.
