Where do you think you are? Tokyo Disneyland? Electrical Parade Dreamlights premiered with floats more updated than MSEP - Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, and Bug's Life. Bug's Life then got replaced by Monster's Inc. and Nemo, and they recently substituted floats again for new floats with Aladdin.
The Tink float was added to DCA's MSEP instead of the Blue Fairy as the opener. It was done to push those direct-to-DVD releases. I wish they switch it back, or at least put the Blue Fairy before the Pinocchio/Pleasure Island floats. Other than that, no new floats. It's better than Spectromagic - the only change they've done was to replace Roger Rabbit with the Genie and tweak the Spectromen.
When Electrical Parade Dreamlights came out at TDL, they redid the electronic music for the parade for it and MSEP at DCA (although TDL didn't like some of the new arrangements, and substituted those parts with symphonic score in place of the electronic score). I have to agree. When I heard it back in Dec 2011, I was not impressed with the new electronic score - especially for Pinocchio and Dumbo (the Dumbo circus floats were NOT in the parade at WDW as they were at DCA, but I remember it from DCA). It makes some sound weird and twisted as if you're hearing being played by mp3 player that's been dropped in a glass of water. I wonder if its composer had ever played a musical instrument. I wish they could do a second new arrangement of the score with someone who's not tone-deaf.
