Not getting points for posting?

I am not earning any new points for my postings/replies in the forums???

When we went over to the new layout for the system it was set up differently so some of the topics no longer give points for posting.
The games section is no longer giving points but I can't tell you what is or is not anywhere else.

Thanks....That must be the problem. I am getting points on some, but not on others....

Games, Club33, and Off Topic are three main board indexes I believe that do not accrue points anymore.

But I am not getting a rise in my post count either. I can understand not getting points, but so they not raise your post count either??

The more posts you have, the higher your points go. I believe it's 10 points/post. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

That's how I understand it to be...and I believe any time you post your post count should increase for that post, but you won't get points on all topics...

I believe that is incorrect. From my understanding, the post count increases with the point count. On threads where you don't get points for posting you will also not get any increase in your post count.

Hmmm, I didn't know that. I don't really use my points for anything so I don't really keep track, I just like chatting about my favorite subjects

Len is correct. Certain forums do not get added to your post count, and as a result you do not get any points from those posts.

That part I understood, but are different threads worth different amts. of points?! Not that it matters for points, just always thought they were worth 10 points/post?!

The points are the same for all posts that count.
