Decades? Dude, you look like you're 19 or 20. You can't have that many decades. It wasn't decades for me either; I first heard the expression back in 2001 with Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday. It's on the scroll for the HMH. I was unfamiliar with it back then, but have loved using it since.

Wow! I'm flattered. But I just turned 29... :| And I haven't heard that expression since before I turned 10. So yes, decades.

As a side note: I still get carded for R rated movies, so you aren't the only one who thinks I'm younger than I really am.

Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Trust me, MadEye, appreciate having that "young" look. I've got many friends who've gone gray or loss their hair (no offense, Mouskedude). I remember few years back on a visit to EPCOT being asked by a CM, "where do you go?" I had no idea of what she was talking about. She meant, "what college do you go?" I was flattered by that, but admitted I had graduated from college many years ago. Consider yourself blessed, mi amigo.

I started getting grays here and there when I was in my teens and it hasn't stopped since and my hair is starting to thin out on top already. To be honest, I'd rather go bald, save the money not spent on shampoo. Besides, I wouldn't mind saying goodbye to all the freakin' cowlicks I get from, basically, every day activities. :|

I like the entire ride but have to say the funniest is the graveyard with so many different scenes to see and listen to, then when the ride is nearly over, you see and hear "the fat-lady sing", which is such a great inference that the ride is about to end! I rode the ride when it was an E-Ticket ride and I had to pay each time I rode it!! Well worth it, though! :hm_ghost:

My favorite room is the one with the multiple stairs and the footsteps creeping around. Its from the updated and latest version of Haunted Mansion, but I still really love it.

My DH says that he loves the "Little Leota" and he also loves the "leota" seance scene.

My niece loves the floating candlestick, the pictures that change with the lightning flash.....and oh yeah, the library and the piano.

My favorite was the ballroom scene for most of my life, because I could never figure out how the ghosts appear and disappear while they dance. (Then, I did.) Now my favorite may be the seance, because the crystal ball seems to float.

So, what I am saying is, it is a fantastic attraction that is just TOO HARD for anyone to pick one favorite!

I love the ballroom scene. Got "stuck" in there for a couple minutes on my solo trip & it was definitely one of the high points of the trip. :)

My favorite is the graveyard. I think it's pretty creative, and the song always gets stuck in my head.

Hmm. I gotta go with theBIGyowski and also pick either the graveyard or the stretching room.

What would you think if Disney decided to bring the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay to WDW's Haunted Mansion?

I would really enjoy having the overlay and my Mom would want to move into WDW so she could see it every day it was there! :hm_ghost:
