Renting a boat in Downtown Disney and going toward Port Orleans and Old Key West. It is very peaceful and relaxing.

Inside the parks: the rose garden in front of the castle. Outside the parks: along the shores of the Poly in the evenings*

* except for my last trip where people climbed over the railings at the TTC dock to watch the fireworks and the Ferry Boat captain literally yelled over the loudspeaker at the people to get off the dock so he could park the ferry. He yelled at them for about 10 minutes - no joke. Even said at one point "DO YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?" Kinda ruined my peaceful spot, but it was entertaining.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Wow that doesn't sound very disney-like. I'm sorry that they ruined your quiet peaceful spot for that day.

It was already mentioned but I love the path between Tland and Toon Town.

I also really enjoy the seating area across from Aloha Isle, while having a Dole Float (or 2) of course!

I almost hate to give it away...but my quiet spot is the area in front of the Coral Reef. Not directly in front of it where the benches are, but in what I believe is technically a smoking area, but I've yet to see people hanging out there having a cigarette. It's tucked away and as of when I was last there, one of the quietest spots in the park.

Yeah I know what spot you're talking about. You also get to hear the monorail go by every so often which isn't too bad.

Another area that is kinda the opposite end of FW, is near the restroom on the far right of Imagination. Kinda hidden area that not many people enter, and another Imagination quiet peaceful area is near the dumping of Honey I Shrunk the Audience (but only when Audience has closed at 7) so from 7-9, You can catch a quick nap or quick spot to rest the feet while still enjoying the atmosphere of EPCOT.

My favourite quiet spot is on Tom Sawyer Island. The rocking chairs near the Fort were a godsend to me when my then two year old daughter was cranky and tired. I sat there with her on my lap. It was just lovely to sit and relax and let her recharge her batteries. After a long cool drink she drifted off to sleep....

For about 1 hour, I enjoyed watching Big Thunder go by and hear the 'noise' coming from MK. It felt like we were the only two there, until my husband and son ambushed us with rifles bought in Frontierland.

It was nice while it lasted... :mickey2:

My second...

First is when Min and I take the ferry from either POR, OKW, or SSR to Downtown Disney. I love the water!

Definately it is riding the TTA. It is relaxing and memory filled. For my husband it's Ellen's Energy Adventure. He always has a good nap in there, even though I continue to poke him!

Hahaha yeah i loved those rocking chairs. It was nice to relax a little and get away from the crowds, maybe a running child once in awhile but it was defnitely nice.

My first is also the TTA. Although last time I rode it a bunch of teenage girls kept screaming EXTREMELY loudly in the tunnel where you see Space Mountain.

The second is Hall of Presidents - it's very nice and air-conditioned in there.
