I would have to say my least favorite would have to be Test Track... while there is alot to look at... they play that god awful test track sound effect medley over and over again and they have the audacity to hang the speakers directly over head pointing down on to the que. why not just have hammers come hit us on the head as we walk down the que lol.

Agreed and it's especially annoying during one of Test Track's many break downs...

I'm right there with you regarding Test Track's queue. Last time we were there, it was the night we arrived and we were running on 3 hours of sleep. Of course, the thing broke down and we're standing there with those god awful sound effects drumming in our ears. It wasn't a pleasant experience. :p

Onto my favorites:

MK: It's a toss up between Pirates and Splash for me. I always loved the atmosphere of walking through the fortress on Pirates and on Splash, I've always had a soft spot for the little creatures talking in the houses as you walk along. And of course, who can forget getting that first big whiff of the 'Disney water smell' as you reach the top at the train station and start to head down to the boarding area? I love it!

EPCOT: The Seas with Nemo and Friends for this one. Great theming all around here.

DHS: Being a huge Star Wars fan, of course I have to go with Star Tours on this one. From weaving your way through the Ewok village right on up to boarding the star speeder at the end of the queue, it really manages to immerse you into the Star Wars universe.

AK: Definitely Expedition Everest for this one, hands down.

Don't some of the robots have webbed feet, too, just like at DL? It's always fun to point that out to the kids - leftovers from earlier attractions, even ones that were never installed at DHS.

Good Topic!

In Magic Kingdom - Jungle Cruise - The narration and the assorted items on the walls (like what happened to the other cruise boats) .

In Hollywood Studios - Rockin' Roller Coaster - I'm an Aerosmith fan 8-)

In Animal Kingdom - Everest - the music and memorabilia :!:

In EPCOT - Mission Space - I read everything, everytime

MK - Pirates of the Caribbean
Epcot - Gran Fiesta Tour... not so much the queue itself, but I like the 'feel' of being in that building, and there's rarely ever a wait. :D
DHS - Star Tours
AK - Dinosaur

Just the feeling you want once you leave the airport to get to Disney World

I like Soarin' because you can smell the Garden Grill through most of the line, and for the interactive games on the wall. But the best queue in Epcot is easily The Seas. Full of detail and perfectly themed.

At The Magic Kingdom, it's a tie between Space Mountain & Pirates. At DHS, it's Toy Story Midway Mania, and Animal Kingdom is Everest. (but I like Dinosaur also)

For WDW,

Magic Kingdom - Pirates of the Caribbean. Simply a blast to walk through. Honorable mention goes to Splash Mountain.

EPCOT - Mission Space. The anticipation leading up to the ride is killer and the gravity wheel is cool.

DHS - Tower of Terror. Hands down, the best queue at WDW. Love the exterior portion of the queue, especially when the misters are on.

AK - Kilimanjaro Safaris. The overall setting makes this one a favorite. Honorable mention goes to It's Tough to Be a Bug. Seeing all the detail under the Tree of Life is very interesting. Note: I haven't been on EE (last visited in '05), so I can't vouch for it, but I hope to head back to WDW in a year or two and ride it.

Here's my question...why is the queue at ToT so amazing? I mean...I think it's great...but you probably only see the inside for what...5-10 minutes tops? It's basically just one big room that most people walk right by. I think it's great...but the queue for TSMM is much more in-your-face Disney magic. You really do feel like you are a toy and are constantly around games and toys. Then you are released into the boarding area that looks just like Andy's room. Don't get me wrong...I think ToT's main lobby and library are great...but nothing makes you smile and happy like all of the nostalgic giant toys in the TSMM queue. JMO though.

The level of detail. Plus, for a huge Twilight Zone geek like me, the library is a treasure trove of nods to the show that you'd only really notice if you're a huge fan of the show.

Don't forget the mystique factor too, the buildup of hearing screaming voices coming from the elevator while waiting outside looking up at the tower, then to enter the building, and see the cast member wait for you and escort you into the amazing library, then finally the ending in the boiler room. Just a well thought out queue that fits the ride wonderfully.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
