We are considering doing the same to celebrate our anniversary in July.

I'll admit I'm a complete novice when it comes to Epcot. I know nothing about the countries, the food, the attractions, rides, etc. Looking forward to changing that this summer.

I ate there once many years ago. It was OK. When in Epcot I would rather try some food that I don't usualy eat back home. I live in Ft lauderdale, FL so seafoood is everywhere. I'd say it's great to go once but once is enough. :mickey:

Coral Reef what an awesome place to eat! Prices are pretty high! But worth it if you enjoy seafood!

Mindy and I ate at the Coral Reef for the first time on our last trip. The atmosphere was fantastic with the huge viewing tank. We sat in the very back and were still able to see the giant fish. We both had pork (not huge seafood people) and I must say it was excellent. It was comparable to the pork dish we had at Ragland Road. We definitely plan on going back hopefully getting a table closer to the fish!

Good food (and I grew up at the shore). I had a tuna steak and it was very good. I was w/a group that included 8 adults and all the feedback was extremely positive, including my wife who is not a seafood person. And the atmosphere is enjoyable and unique. The four kids w/us LOVED the 100 year old turtle hangin' out right next to the window too!

Your children will love to eat there, with all the life in that tank. They we stay focused on all that movement and sealife! I love it!

Sounds like a good restaurant from all the reviews here. Can't wait to eat there when we go in July. We've been to WDW 9 times and this will be my first time eating there. Seems like an exciting dining experience.

I've eaten there several times and always enjoyed it. I don't think the prices are any more expensive than what you expect at Disney for table service. They do have other food than seafood and they sell Fess Parker (Davy Crockett) wine. Something fun for someone my age. The only thing I've ever had that was ordinary, believe it or not, was alligator for an appetizer. It wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. I guess I was expecting it to taste either very good or very bad. The best I could say about it, is that it was forgetable.

I've always enjoyed there Mahi Mahi. But, the atmosphere is worth a least one meal there. That's something that will be a certain memory souvenir.

My husband's not a big seafood eater either but there are enough options on the menu for those who don't do seafood. His favorite was the pork tenderloin and wild rice lasagna. I like the lobster soup also and the scallops. :mickey:

It's one of my all time favorite restaurants. It's no one thing--I think it's greater than the sum of its parts. The aquarium, the ambience (provided there are no little screamers in there), the tucked-away spot, and the staff have always been great to me. It holds a special place in my heart, though, as it was one of my areas when I was on the college program and working at Epcot. :-)
