Subsonic Radio Player for Windows Version 1.2

We've just released a new version of the Subsonic Radio Player for Windows. It's now at version 1.2. You can download it from the following URL:

Please note that this version of the Subsonic Radio Player has been superceeded by Version 1.2.5, which is available here.

Subsonic Radio Player 1.2

This version includes a number of improvements and bug fixes, including:
+ Time elapsed since you started streaming
+ Context menu added to system tray icon with quick play shortcuts
+ Added Request2 stream
+ Fixed oversized icon in the Windows volume mixer
+ Added an easter egg. Can you find it? (it's quite well hidden)

To upgrade your previous version, you simply need to replace your .exe file with the new one. The .dll files haven't changed.

Full details are in the ReadMe.txt and VersionHistory.txt files. Note that as previously you will need the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 installed on your computer to run the player. Details on where to get this are in the ReadMe.txt file.

Can someone tell me what this is?? Is it like a real player type program

Depends on how you define "realy player type program" - the only thing it can do is play the different stations of Subsonic Radio, but they're much quicker and much more comfortable to play using it rather than using iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp or the liks.
You don't have to enter any links, you just choose the station you want to and it starts playing, always displaying the title of the current song.

the next step to this logically would be making a grooveshark type prog whereu can stream any track u want on demand. maybe put a limit in , but let people stream songs they want to hear on demand... id probably pay a monthy fee of a couple bucks for something like that.

I'm pretty sure we don't have the resources available to us to be able to do something like that. It'd be a nice idea, though.
