I've posted these exact words before, but it's become increasing clear it needs a repost, as we have more users than ever before, and many newer users who have recently begun posting.

Lately, I've noticed alot of people posting multiple times in one thread, one post right after the other(s). Mainly, I've seen this happen for 3 reasons:

1) someone forgot to say something in the post they just made, but they wanted to add that little bit to the conversation

2) someone posted something, didn't realize it actually posted, and they pressed the "back" button to amend the post.

3) someone posted something in response to one other post in the same thread, the second post is in response to another post in same said thread

Now, while I know that most of the time this is not intentional, I see this far too frequently to consider it ALL accidental. Now, I'm not here to point fingers or anything, and please don't just PM me saying I'm being a meanie or anything. But, I just wanted to let everyone know of a little feature you can use to fix these mistakes in the future (should you find yourself making them)

When you post, you will see a little toolbar at the top before what you typed. Up there, there should be at least 2 buttons: Image and Image. If you forgot to say something, instead of just adding another post, just edit your last post with what you wanted to say. This will help to save people from over-posting and abusing the points system.

ok, I think the time is right for a refresher here. Since I've had some computer issues, and haven't been able to visit as often as I'd like, I haven't been able to keep up to date with the goings-on here in the forums. But, reading through some of the threads, it's been increasing clear that some of our newer users aren't aware of this policy, or some of our older users have forgotten.

in anycase, please read my post above, and please try to curb the double/triple postings. Use the features as they are intended, and as Subsonic said:

it's been just over a month since I last had to say anything about this. But, we've recently had a bunch of new users posting, and some older users that have started posting again. So, one last time. Please stop the double posting.

Thank you for your cooperation, and continued participation in the forums. We really do appreciate all users of SR.

As many people may have realized, we have eased our "restrictions" on postings. While we still allow games (like the Survival game in the WDW forum), we still do not want double posts clogging up our forums.

Lately, I've noticed users posting multiple times in one thread, one post right after the other(s). Mainly, I've seen this happen for 4 reasons:

1) someone forgot to say something in the post they just made, but they wanted to add that little bit to the conversation

2) someone posted something, didn't realize it actually posted, and they pressed the "back" button to amend the post.

3) someone posted something in response to one other post in the same thread, the second post is in response to another post in same said thread

4) An error message after posting is received, so you press "Refresh" in your browser.

If you do receive an error message (and the page does not refresh to your most recent post), just follow this one step. DO NOT PRESS REFRESH. just click the blue link for Subsonic Radio Forum Index. you'll have to re-enter the forum/thread in which you posted, but you will see your post as the most recent.

In addition, please remember to read/follow our forum rules, which were posted by subsonic, and written by QuickGold. If you have any questions about said rules, please do not hesitate to send us a message. people you should direct those questions to are listed in the very last post. please see the forum rules here:
