Google Chrome and Subsonic
I just loaded Google Chrome. It seems like a good web browser, but I can't get it to play Subsonic.
I have been using Windows Media player on Internet Explorer with few (if any) problems. Any ideas for a simple solution to this?

I use chrome too. It's very nice. I was going to say that the problem was WMP probably wasn't embedded into chrome and if you set up the file type .PLS to work with Winamp it should work fine.
But... you fixed the problem.

subsonic,
Thanks, Subsonic. Even though I like Chrome, it doesn't work for some of my work websites
, and I don't get a correct posting notice (even on Subsonic). I think Chrome is a great idea, and if they keep perfecting it, I'll use it all the time, but for now I think I will accept the slower speed for IE and wait for improvements.
Happy Holidays Sir.

Happy Holidays Sir.
Personally, I have all the playlist files saved and tune in without visiting the site.

I use iTunes...it seems to work the best for me.

I use Winamp and the .pls files are associated with it. Or, like I'll connect to a stream and then in Winamp I'll choose "save playlist" and it saves it as .m3u.mindflipper wrote:And how did you do that? in IE or WMP?subsonic wrote:Personally, I have all the playlist files saved and tune in without visiting the site.
Basically, I only listen to online streams. I have probably about 20-30 playlists of single streams saved and categorized into folders. Then, in windows, I set up a toolbar on my task bar to link to that folder.

Re: Google Chrome and Subsonic
I use google chrome all of the time and love it. I have a droid so the integration is great between the two. All of my streams work properly.
