Re: Sponsorship of attractions

Siemens doesn't really go towards the household name thing, they make a few things for consumers but most of it is corporate, but I think they might actually use their suite for negotiation. Some of the sponsors are akin to electric company ads, such as Ratheon and Waste Management, where they make...

Re: Sponsorship of attractions

The beauty of attraction sponsorship is that it helps develop brand awareness. The more they can get their name out, and especially connect it with a really good experience like being on vacation at Disney World, the better for the company. Do you remember the Kodak presentation before Honey, I Shru...

Re: Ending a trip to WDW

That is something I haven't done much of at WDW is just sit, and enjoy the surroundings...that is going to be a definite priority for my next visit. I can't imagine any better place to do this than Main Street USA  We lived for a year in Orlando and had annual passes. By the end of the year, ...

Re: Disney Tastes

Just a quick comment about WDW food in general: EVERYTHING we had, every character meal (Garden Grille at Epcot, Crystal Palace at MK, and Chef Mickey's at Contemporary), every "snack" (such as ice cream, caramel corn, etc.), every counter service meal (Lunching Pad and Harbour House in MK, for ins...

Re: What ride have you conquered that you were afraid of?

 That's funny! I can only imagine where your 10 year old imaginative self took you during that first ride  Glad you conquered your fears this time around :hm_ghost: Let's just say that when the narrator said, "There's a ghost sitting beside you!" I definitely pictured the scariest ghost...

Re: What ride have you conquered that you were afraid of?

Don't laugh... Haunted Mansion. The first time I visited WDW I was 10, and the stretching room freaked me out. I spent the whole rest of the attraction with my eyes tightly closed, meaning my 10-year-old imagination was picturing everything the Ghost Host says... and as we all know, imagination can ...

Re: Ending a trip to WDW

This year, we couldn't decide between Epcot and MK for our last day... so we just went to both. Spaceship Earth was our last attraction at Epcot, and at MK we didn't even go on any attractions, we just sat down on Main Street and relaxed for an hour. It was wonderful.

Re: New Fastpass System

To get back to the question at hand... When I was there a few weeks ago, there were signs up at all the FP stations that guests need to return within the time window. It's also now printed on the ticket. The allowed time is now a full hour, though. It could be just in my head, but it seemed like the...

Re: Disney Tastes

Hi folks, first time poster looking to start scoring some points. :)

The one taste we must have every time is a strawberry smoothie from Auntie Gravity's. I like Dole Whips but my wife doesn't care for them.

There used to be others, but I believe the food's gone downhill over the last few years.
