sounds interesting. I just hope that it runs on schedule and the changes aren't too bad. Any news on TTA? Are they going to refurb it while it is down for the SM refurb? I heard - though I don't remember where so I can't link a source at the moment - that a new audio track for it was being recorded...

And remember anti- bacterial hand sanitizers aren't designed to kill viruses . Wash your hands! ;) Shh, I like to believe they kill as much as possible. By way of an update, the CDC claims as long as the alcohol content of the gel is 60% or higher, it should be effective in killing influenza....

Re: Space Mountain Refurb

Hmm. Well, taking this as true for the moment (as I know it's 'rumored' status still): - New lift mechanism installation - Audio track being added to the ride experience - Additional sound effect speakers being installed, along with upgraded audio quality - Light levels are being adjusted to provide...

That's really cool. Next time I'm in WDW, I need to make a point of looking around FW at night (erm ... if I can think of a non-creepy way to do that). We were planning to stay there in October but that's not going to work out. I wish I had a lawn. I'd so have a Mickey Light out there. I really enjo...

I would recommend WP Express, too (though I would say to avoid the sit-down place on the west side). It and Earl of Sandwich are the two places I've heard consistently good reviews of. The rest? Not so much. Caroline.....obviously you forgot about McDonalds!!!! :P LOL!!!! Oh, I'd like to. =D I real...

The Unofficial Guide to Things They Hope You Don't Notice

This is an idea born to a few of us ornery types out of the discussion of the ruins of River Country . Why does Disney leave River Country there where people can see it? Why is half of Pop Century unfinished (and scary looking) in plain view? Either they really believe that "nobody will look", or th...

Okay... that took longer than anticipated, but I've read through all the old pages of the WDW forum and I don't see anything that fits the description of what we're looking for so we should be clear to start a new thread. I'm thinking just starting one generic WDW thread is probably the place to sta...

The more I think about this (I'm a low volt tech), it seems that Disney could track everyone in a park. This could be used for crowd control and other security issues. It could also be used for marketing. They would be able to track where people go and what attractions are being seen the most. Disn...

I loved the old detailed drawings of the attractions that used to go on these maps. Like how you can see the little cars for WoM? That's cool. I also like that it said the park was "inspired by" Walt's dream and not representative of it. They seemed more honest back in the day. Very cool find. :)

Just as an update.. Rich was quick to respond, and I did get both files uploaded (assuming the transfers completely correctly - they seemed to). So they're ready to roll whenever they make it to the top of the 'to be added' list and someone has time to add 'em. :)

I love that song. I burned it on a cd for our last drive to WDW. It got me quite the look from my husband. Probably didn't help that I was singing along. Get the FEE-ull of the WHEE-ull of a FOOOOORD! :D

Ding ding! You're right, Yodiwan. Part of the list of things Martin Short's mom has to do before she has him. ;)

You're up.
