I love A Whole New World (the version from the movie and not the version they play during the credits). A close second would be Kiss The Girl.

My other pet peeve is getting stuck in a ride vehicle with a bunch of teenagers who are unescorted.

Yes, that is true. Rowdy teenagers do detract from the experience. I once saw Security escorting a rowdy group of teenagers out of the park. At least they try to do away this problem.

WDW's main competition is Universal.

This is true. I live in North Carolina and know people who go to Orlando just to go to Universal and never go to Disney. :(

Shame on them.

I also vote for the Disneyland version. They both do seem pretty similar to each other, but Disneyland does have that extra drop.

If they do have lap bars, there probably wouldn't be a need for the "Remain Seated" spiel at the end of the ride (since you no longer have the option of undoing the seat belt). That spiel is a classic (although I think modified slightly a few years ago), and one of the few Jack Wagner spiels that's ...

It seems as though the parks at WDW open about 10 years apart (plus or minus a few years).

Magic Kingdom - 1971
Epcot - 1982
Disney/MGM - 1989
Animal Kingdom - 1998

I wonder if that pattern will continue in the future. Has it really been 10 years already since Animal Kingdom opened?

I always feel bad for the cast member(s) that have to stand at the entrance to the walkway to WoL and tell people they a) can't go up there and/or b) it's closed and then the company line as to why. That's gotta be a horrendously tedious shift to pull. I was there at the beginning of December. Inst...

It's hard to see what color they are from the picture - maybe light blue? I actually like the color of the "old" bobsleds, white with the red/orange stripe.

i would like to see them split up star tours into two different rides. One the original and the other a new prequel version, then you can choose your tour! That is a great idea! Even if only one of the gates has the original show, it still would allow the nostalgia of the original but also get some...

Gotta say, it would be wonderful to have the Savannah at the AK in my backyard!

Definitely! I hadn't thought of that. (Much better than Town Square).

New Star Tours ?

I saw this post on the Cranium Command thread: I heard a Disney rumor that they were using the Body Wars simulator to test the new Star Tours movements. Anyone have info on a new Star Tours? It does seem a little dated (it's been over 20 years since it opened at DLR), but it is still one of my favor...

A view of Town Square from Walt's apartment would be nice!
