Re: 2015 Running / Sub Meet-up?

.............................. However I think only a lottery win would allow me to be there in 2015 to join you :!: For now I will just support you from afar and wish you all well. I was *just* about to say you should walk with Amy and me in the 5k... but that doesn't solve your lottery problem. B...

Re: 2015 Running / Sub Meet-up?

Sitting here reading all this has made me so jealous of you guys      I left school as the best runner and continued to run all my life at a reasonable standard 8-) This all came to a shuddering halt a few years ago :( and after 3 knee operations in the l...

Re: Video of Mystic Manor

Certainly looks like a cool ride.
There would seem to be potential for some sensory effects too e.g. cold, heat, wind etc. Does anyone know if they have done this :?: That would make even better :)

Re: If you were allowed - what 'souvenir' would you take hom

The Parks aren't cleared yet! There is still plenty left. I would have had a WDW Transport bus to go to & from the bus company I work for, but Len90 has got them :x I rather fancied Spaceship Earth but see that has gone too. Shame as I love the way it shines at sunrise & sunset. So I am going to ha...

Re: Music you can't get outta your head.

Before we first went to WDW a friend warned us that if we went on Its a Small World we would become brainwashed with the tune which would remain in our heads forever  Of course we rode it and the tune is still in our heads on a regular loop On our last visit we made a conscious family decisio...

Re: 52 Weeks of Surprises in 2013!

Maybe using the word "surprise" is a mistake. But a "Limited Time Magic" promotion is no different to what every retailer is doing week in week out. I'm sure even Disney are finding times hard as we all struggle at the moment. Are they simply just advertising in a different way by saying you might s...

Re: Which are the best restaurants in Downtown Disney

Loved Earl of Sandwich when we visited. Went down to London last weekend and made a special effort to visit the only UK outlet on Ludgate Hill the very road on which it is supposed to have all started. As lovely as the food was on a cold and windy Easter Monday, we sat there wishing we were somewher...

Re: UK Pavilion Phone Booths

Sleepy. I find it hard to believe myself. Can't remember when I last used one though  Strictly speaking they where mini Police Stations with a phone for emergency use by the public accessed through a small door on the front. Check out "Police box" on Wikipedia if you want the detail. The standa...

Re: UK Pavilion Phone Booths

I'm from the UK and we don't have these phone booths anymore so it's a real nice to treat so see these around at epcot when I come to visit. Epcot reminds me so much of my childhood because I spent so much time there it's awesome that some of our heritage is built into the park :-). I actually saw ...

Re: UK Pavilion Phone Booths

I think you best buy one of those.
If you want the real deal they start at around £2200 ($3285) without phone.
Fully refurbished, as new, with phone £4800 ($7168).
:o
And then there is the shipping costs!
I could come back over to WDW for that price - still saving

Re: Disney Transport Bus Roster

A bit of internet trawling has unearthed a report from the Transportation Research Board which makes interesting reading in its own right. It states that as of December 1997 there were 2,812 low floor buses in use in the USA with 2,657 on order out of a total US fleet of 50,344. Given that fact I be...

Re: Hello, new here

Hi everyone. I am new and have been reading through some of the forums but I can't find the exact info I'm looking for. What is the point system about, is that how tracks are requested? Also what's the deal with number of listeners, it is limited during the day I assume? If this info is posted some...
