Resort Pool Bar Menus

I saw on another site that WDW is implementing a new property-wide pool bar menu that will include a selection of craft beers. My understanding is that the changes will be made resort by resort over an extended period rather than all resorts at once. I admittedly am a beer snob so I am curious to kn...

Re: Food & Wine Festival

If the Food and Wine after party tickets are still available I would do that instead of a Saturday park ticket. Epcot is open unto 4am for the runners that cross the finish line and people who purchased the special event ticket, and many of the attractions are open including the food & wine kiosks....

Re: Food & Wine Festival

Touringplans lists epcot as a park to avoid on Friday with a 7.7 out of 10 crowd level. (10 being the most crowded) And it gets the "best park" rating for Sunday with a 5.9. For what it's worth... I used Touringplans our last trip in early June, and I was not that impressed. For the first two days,...

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I was leaning towards going on Friday, and that's what we will do.

Food & Wine Festival

I need some advice and was wondering if some of you F&W veterans could help me out. We will be going to WDW Nov. 7 - 11 (Thursday - Monday). We want to go to Epcot/F&W Festival at least three times. We will arrive early enough to go on Thursday, and we will attend the private party after the Wine & ...

Re: Where is your Favorite place to sit and listen to the mu

Right off the top of me head: DHS - Animation Courtyard MK - I like the music in and around the Village Haus (must be the German in me - sucker for all that yodeling and accordion), but admit that there is generally no sitting while at MK... AK - Flame Tree BBQ area EPCOT - Anywhere around the Foun...

Re: Tracks that drive you nuts!!!

Another new one: anything with Frito Kid/Klondike. Too repetitive and hokey.

The Klondike Kid stuff is starting to irritate me too. Not exactly sure why. Just seems too repetitive.

Re: Food and Wine 2013 Most Excited to Taste?

My plan of attack when we visit in November is:

1. Brazil - Crispy Pork Belly
2. Hops & Barley - Lobster Roll
3. Canada - Filet
4. Hawaii - Pork Slider
5. Florida Local - Beef Slider

Not sure what I will tackle the next four days.

Re: DVC...Coming to the Poly!!

My wife and I were married at Sunset Pointe at the Poly. We had many pictures taken around the waterfall and the rest of the resort, so any changes will be upsetting to us. Especially, if, as I have seen on some drawings, Disney puts the over-water bungalows by Sunset Pointe. The view of the castle ...

Re: Alcohol at MK?

This isn't really a problem to me. It is one restaurant that is almost impossible to get a reservation at anyway. If it goes farther, I could see it bothering me though.

Re: Cruise Line Policy Changes

Wow ~ you must use your Disney Visa for everything   We use our Disney Premier Visa for pretty much everything but our mortgage. We pay it off weekly and never carry a balance. We had about $1,300 in reward dollars for our son's first birthday trip back in June, and should have about th...

Re: Cruise Line Policy Changes

My wife and I were on a cruise this past January. We booked a balcony for the purpose of being able to have a nightly cigar and a few drinks to relax and unwind from a busy day. When you are out on the ocean, for those who have not been on a crusie, the breeze from the moving ship and the breeze co...
