Re: DisneyQuest Questions

If you have an HD tv and don't mind the spend on a console (if you don't have one already) The Pinball arcade has tons of classic tables with regular content updates. You could also buy it on Steam (for the PC) but unless you have a massive monitor it is less fun. Thanks - I actually looked at a "p...

Re: Remember When... Epcot

I still remember the "stations" in the Imagination! pavilion where you could design your own CD of Disney Music, and have it burned while you waited. I never did it - wish I had. They had ALL sorts of stuff like things we enjoy here - bathroom music loop, queue music, etc. Must have been 100s of ava...

Re: DisneyQuest Questions

Thanks - we had gone one trip when we had tons of free add-ons, so stopping in there for a half day after a water park wasn't a bad deal. The problem is I'd like to see what is currently IN there before I actually pay for an admission. I guess I could try emailing for a list of pinballs and arcade g...

DisneyQuest Questions

Hey There! Happy Monday! Has anyone been to DisneyQuest recently? My biggest question - do they still have pinball, and if so, how much of a selection? My hobby is collecting and restoring pinball machines, and I was hoping that maybe they have a good selection? I don't think we've been there...

Re: Ticket Prices and FAQ updated anywhere?

All my old media has been added to my MagicBands - we did it in person whilst in FLA last summer. Either at the backdoor to Epcot or at the Concierge at Yacht Club OR at the special MagicBand center that was set up there during the beta testing phase. I vaguely remember having to go to Epcot Custome...

Re: Ticket Prices and FAQ updated anywhere?

I got a call this past weekend. All previous tickets had been loaded on my magicbands, but they did explain everything that was left for the wife and I. Nice guy that called. They seem pretty busy, though, and I still have a month or so, I didn't want to call and rush them. Looks like we will use up...

Re: Snow White Mine Train

Dung...for those of you still in suspense! And I grew up watching Monty Python on a B&W tube TV on public broadcasting...wow. Those were the days...now I have two computer monitors that put that B&W to shame. In all my offices, too!

Re: Ticket Prices and FAQ updated anywhere?

Thanks! I will take a look!

Still waiting to hear back on how many days we still have left from old ticket media - then I'm off to figure out what to buy!

Re: Snow White Mine Train

Thanks, Amy. I worry sometimes that my humor does not convey well in text format. Sometimes, actually, it doesn't convey at all and I find myself laughing alone at some in-depth geeky sort of joke I just made, whilst the wife and/or others just look at me. And I really enjoy bad jokes in class. Quic...

Re: Wonders of Life Pavilion Memories UPDATE-Buzzy Lives!

Well, I would be alright with the gutting and closure IF they keep the corporate lounge intact and reserved it for Subsonic Radio listeners!

Re: Ticket Prices and FAQ updated anywhere?

Thanks - I'll wander over to the official Disney later today. I was looking for a quick and fast table, but I'll just tinker with the options. I'm still awaiting a response to my email to their ticket folk about how many days are left on some old ticket media I have.

Re: Wonders of Life Pavilion Memories UPDATE-Buzzy Lives!

I agree! Maybe I'm just strange, but I liked that, along with Food Rocks/Kitchen Kabaret, and the WedWay People Mover. Guess I'm just a corny romantic at heart, or something... I am too! But seriously, how much could it really take to re-open Wonders of Life? They could just unlock the door...

Re: Snow White Mine Train

Hmmm - just saw the 40" restriction. As I am 72" tall, I guess I can NOT ride. Strange to spend that much money for a ride restricted to 40" and under. Well, dwarfs and such. I do seem to remember Snow White having to duck a lot in the movie.

Oh, wait - 40" and OVER - now I get it!

Re: Ticket Prices and FAQ updated anywhere?

Huh. I've seen the Disney official pages, but a lot of the unoffical ones haven't posted 2014 rules, policies, etc yet. I realize that the fastpass booths have (or are going) away. But I'm trying to price out some ticket options, especially the Never Expire costs. Thanks!

Re: Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival 2014

I gotta admit - not having to pack/unpack/repack, especially CPAP machine and such, is very nice! And now that 100, 200, 300 loops are preferred and not premium (since smaller and not pull-thrus) we can actually afford to be near the boat dock! Yippee!
