Re: Least comfortable ride seats

I feel like I already made a comment on this thread.. anyway.. I think I hold the 'time rover' vehicles in Dinosaur as the worst seats at Walt Disney World. I'm rather tall and when I rode this I felt as if my knees were pinned against the seat in front of me. Maybe I got in wrong  , but ...

Re: Best Age for a Child's First Visit

I think the best time to take a child is about 4 or 5. Yes, I know they likely won't remember it but YOU will and the joy you have out of that trip will last YOU a lifetime. Few experience's are better than enjoying Disney with your Children for the first time. Plus, you will most likely make later...

Re: do u have a brick in the magic kindgom walkway??

I remember when they were first doing these. I guess at the time it seemed like a waste of money, but looking back I wish we would have gotten one. Might be just a hunk of stone -- which was our *cough* dad *cough* logic -- but it's pretty neat knowing you have a "landmark" inside Disney that could ...

Re: Disney Dreams: What's yours?

What were/are your Disney dreams? Mine is the obvious choice of working at their Walt Disney World resorts. :mickey: It's one of those childhood dreams ( ), I know, but even today I think it's real fascinating to possibly be apart of a guests dream vacation. I mean, there are so many people w...

Re: New TTA Voice

What a bummer. This is one of my top attractions! :( When you grew up with a ride it's hard to accept such changes. Especially when it was done so well... I mean, for me, Pete Renaday's hosting is probably the most enjoyable part of the ride and what sticks with me. And every time I hear the monoton...

Are there any Disney resort documentaries?

Greetings. :D I was wondering if anyone has ever made a documentary on Walt Disney World and/or the Disneyland resorts. Something about maybe their ideas, the founding and construction of it all. Anything, really! I've seen most of the History and Travel Channel specials; and while they're all very ...

Re: Theme VS Thrill

I have to agree about doing "both".. but if it came to just one or the other I'd definitely choose theme. That's what really sets Walt Disney World above the other amusement parks (in my opinion). If I wanted just thrill I'd go to Cedar Point or something.. but they lack that specialness Walt Disney...

Re: Whats your favorite park at WDW?

It's definitely got to be Magic Kingdom for me. I'm a huge kid at heart, and stepping through each 'land is like going into a whole new world in your imagination. It's like a ride in itself. And on that note, I feel that they have the best rides to offer. The other parks are fantastic in their own r...

Re: Blackbeard Comes Aboard at DLR & WDW May 20.

Pretty neat! Ian McShane is a brilliant actor - looking very forward to seeing PotC: At World's End and perhaps even Blackbeard in the attraction if I'm lucky. :D I do miss hearing Sterling Holloway's voice along that dark corridor though... Do you have an audio clip of that? My mind's blank.. :x

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?

Other rides I'm not too keen on are Honey, I Shrunk the Audience! ... HISTA hasn't been around for a while now... Replaced with a show even more out of date (captain eo) with "updated" (and I use that term very loosely) effects that were used in HISTA. Hmph, you don't say. Last time I went on that ...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?

I would say give Soarin' another chance. Let us know if you still feel the same after another ride... I hate to be closed-minded, so I'll give it another go. :D Perhaps I let the anticipation and hype get to me.. or maybe I just had a bad seat. Well, everyone in my family loved it. So who kno...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?

I have to echo everyone in regards to Tomorrowland Speedway . I've always had a dislike for this ride. They're slow, sound like they're on their last leg, smell of fuel - and it's on rails! What fun is that? I've had more fun steering the grocery shopping cart than I ever did driving those. Ev...
