Re: Wonders of Life Pavilion Memories UPDATE-Buzzy Lives!
Very sad the WoL is gone, too. I have the same memories as others have mentioned of my daughter riding her bike through the MK. Plus, Cranium Command was so funny and well-written. A few of the personalities might be lost on the youngest generation now, but for any SNL or Cheers people, the show had...

I thought it was pretty Jetsons-like when I watched a video of the Monsanto House on youtube. I can understand the whole walk-through idea being sort of boring...especially when the Matterhorn was close by! Did they have Disney hosts or hostesses in the house showing things off? Or was it completel...

Re: Which DLR Land Would you choose to always visit?
I've watched a few videos on youtube and they look ok, but not fantastic. Looks like they move pretty slowly... I know, I watched some of those, too. Maybe new technology can't do much for an attraction like that; but if they can keep it operating consistently, it could still be fun since it was ex...

Fun! I don't believe I have ever run into someone that had been able to experience the older DL attractions. Did you also see the Monsanto House of the Future? That looked interesting. Well, really dating myself here  but, meh, who cares. Yes, I was able to go in the Monsanto house a number o...

Re: Read any good books lately???
Ok, just finished with the dreaded Summer head cold and needed some lighter reading. The four books that make up the Peter and the Starcatchers series were pretty good. They are YA books, but the stories and characters are well developed and make a fun, credible lead up to Peter Pan. A lot like Wick...

Re: Pixar Movie Ranking
11. Up 10. Cars 9. A Bug's Life 8. Toy Story 3 7. Finding Nemo 6. The Incredibles 5. Toy Story 2 4. Ratatouille 3. Toy Story 2. Wall-e 1. Monster's Inc. I have to also really commend the music scores in The Incredibles and Ratatouille. And Monster's Inc, possibly the very best voice casting!

Re: Favorite Character
Donald, always Donald, especially when he gets mad, so cute! Also,
, adorable with great attitude. I also have to add the whole Incredibles "cast", really well developed characters. Oh, and (thank you, Tim Burton) Jack Skellington.

What is your favorite attraction to share with a 1st timer?
I have always felt so fortunate to live close to Disneyland and one of my favorite things as years went on was when relatives would come to visit and I took them for their first trip to the Magic Kingdom. Even rides that had become very familiar took on fresh vibes, watching their reactions. With ki...

Re: Disney Paris - Can you see it all in one day?
I was very pleased by how easy the Metro was to navigate while I was there. It ran so efficiently and was always clean! I would add the Louvre to your list, but I suppose that really takes up most of an entire day so it wouldn't be practical on such a short trip. Right, the Louvre is wonderful, but...

Re: What is better? Phantom Manor or Haunted Mansion?
I had to go with Phantom Manor, but me being me, it was an easy choice. I grew up with The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and it will always be special, but the reason I love Phantom Manor is that it's just spookier with a less jokey feel. I know that might mess with the little ones in a family and I...

Re: Disney Paris - Can you see it all in one day?
I would really focus on DLP with just the one day. Even with some of the rides being similar to the U.S. parks, the Paris park itself is really beautiful. It just has a bit more of the European fairy tale look about it. The castle and grounds around it...so pretty. And, even though the basic concept...

Re: Snap Your Fingers and you are at . . . . . .
I'm gonna skip breakfast, "snap", go on the Great Movie Ride, then lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, the main purpose of my Snap right now, that says WDW to me!
