Re: Dateline Disneyland

I suppose it will depend on their work schedules. If they are at work, we might as well take the scenic drive up the coast as opposed to sitting in the house. We do want to spend a day in San Francisco at the Wharf, take in the Walt Disney museum, and probably go to the aquarium as well once we get...

Re: Walt Disney Guest starred.....

Good clip and it's definitely worth some time on YouTube watching other celebrities show up (Groucho Marx, Gene Kelly, Danny Kaye, a very young Woody Allen); fun to see these and other famous people from various fields in a fairly loose environment.

Re: What line is worth waiting hours for?

I am also in the category of "Nope, Not Happenin'" when it comes to the long wait time. I know I'm spoiled, living so close to DLR, but I can always find non-peak times to visit. I admit that in some of my earlier visits, it was necessary to wait in lines for any new attraction opened (Star Tours, I...

Re: Food debates

Well, on the exotic versus familiar, I definitely like to try at least one exotic restaurant during a visit; to me, that just adds to the memories of that particular trip. Vacations are for Adventure! As to atmosphere, it totally depends on the mood of the parties concerned - for fun with a group: n...

Oh, I didn't have to give this any thought at all: powdered sugar only. On the rare occasions I even allow myself this treat, I want that pure experience, no smothering in fruits, whipped cream, chocolate, etc.

Definitely savory for me. I like getting some nachos at Cantina de San Angel, kicking back and people watching.

Another vote for the Mickey over Dole; guess I'm tough  the wooden stick isn't an issue for me.

Re: Innoventions to finally close?

Oh I know they have limitations because of the physical space, I guess that Tomorrowland as a whole has given Imagineering some fits due to its' supposed "look to the future." It's too bad Autopia stays popular with little kids as that space, added to the CoP site could really add up to something. A...

Wonderful pictures of a beautiful park. It sounds as though you also enjoy my two favorites, Phantom Manor and Pirates. You're right, both require multiple ride throughs to catch all the details. Wish I was there right now!

Re: Video of Mystic Manor

Actually, you're missing inthe video the back story. Do you remember the stereotyped Brit AA at the beginning/end? He's a collector of rare objects from all over the world. You're going on a tour of his collection, but his monkey Albert causes mischief by opening an enchanted music box, which appea...

Re: Innoventions to finally close?

Well I won't mind seeing Innoventions close. It really amazes me how much trouble Disney has finding something substantial for that area. Iron Man certainly has potential; I hope that they incorporate some of the new techniques as they have in Tokyo.
