Re: Disney In The Dark - Photo Tribute to Disney Magic at Ni

Not a good picture of Mickey, but I like how the flames look...

This picture always reminds me how sitting in the front row, you REALLY feel the heat!

Re: Amy and F1gment's return to Disneyland 2013

Hi Amy, just read this trip report all the way through. Love the pic of f1gment with her hands up for ears!

How did you get such clear pictures in the HMansion? I tried but it was too dark...I LOVE HM with the Skellington overlay. One of my favorite things of my trip (last October).

Re: World of Color Winter Dreams Show

Thanks Amy, I HAVE seen the WoC show, but not with the xmas theme. I had heard the music on a podcast, but honestly it didnt thrill me. I prefer classic disney music I guess, altho hearing the Nutcracker piece - you could tell they were doing something with Toy Story! And I hadn't seen Frozen before...

Re: What rides have you been stuck on when they broke down?

The only bummer about getting stuck is losing the time it takes while they are getting the ride up and running, or deciding to evacuate :( No kidding. Got stuck on one of the lifts at Splash. Had to wait about half an hour until the CM was able to get to us and evacuate us. Yeah, we got a "wild-car...

Re: World of Color Winter Dreams Show

Did anyone actually see this show? I heard the audio on a podcast, but would like a review from someone who actually saw it!

Thanks!

World of Color Dining Package

Will be in Anaheim for a conference in October, so will want to see World of Color. I was lucky enough to be there on opening night and had a dining package at the Trattoria that got me FANTASTIC seats for the second show. So my question is, for those of you who have used them, which dining package ...

Re: Dinning reservation

I would have put 'Ohana as the last place a vegetarian would ever want to eat...nice to know they have some great veggie alternatives Talking to the chef was a fun experience on its own, but then he came out more than once to see how we were doing. And then brought us an extra dessert that was not ...

Re: Favorite Resort Restaurant?

Jiko, hands down for us! And regarding the price of food at WDW compared to other parks...at least with regards to quick service, Disney is so much better, both in terms of quality, and the price given the higher quality. Was at Hersheypark last year and was seeing prices in the range of $15 for rib...

Re: Dinning reservation

Hi Mandi, We too didn't love Boma, but we do love Jiko. One of our favorites. Hope you like it. Enjoy Ohana! FYI we had a vegetarian in our group and, even though the place serves MEAT MEAT MEAT, the chef came out and spent time at our table, and the vegetarian ended up with the best meal of the gro...

Re: What ride(s) have you ridden the most?

Hmm, We have only gone 5 times to WDW, but there are a few rides we hit more often than others: Pirates - every time we walk by, if the wait is under 5 min, we go. And this happens a lot when the park is quiet. I remember one day we rode it 5 times. Buzz - When the queue is short, you can hit this o...

Re: Jedi Training Academy Tips

Another common question around this is - how do I get my child signed up for JTA and ALSO get FPs for TSMM? Might be obvious, but send one adult with the kids to JTA signup, send the other adult to TSMM with tix for FPs. And having PhotoPass is a big benefit if your kid is in the show. Some of our f...
