Love the milkshakes and atmosphere...the food though leaves something to be desired. However reliving all the 50's Sci-fi movie memories makes up for it! And I do miss the popcorn. :mickey:

It works great. You just have to learn how to use it. All you have to do is think a little and know your parks. You know, I think this might be at the bottom of it all. I was sitting here trying to understand the opposition to Fast Pass. I'm thinking back on all the times I've used it and benefited...

Cheesy is out of place at EPCOT all together. EPCOT is supposed to educate while entertaining. The more they remove the educate part of EPCOT, the less entertaining it is I think... Ellen, Nemo, Donald Duck, and the other Disney character/movie/actor tie-ins haven't enhanced the rides or the park. ...

c No one is implying it will take away from the magic, but it will take away from the dream of Disney. A park costs a lot to build and even more to maintain over the years. That's a lot of money that could be going to continuing to expand in ways that are pleasing to all guests regardless of age. Wh...

DisBeamer , what you said about the original World's Fair concept , got me thinking. If they can't decide on a country to add that would be politically acceptable to a majority, how about taking that original World's Fair concept and expanding it. One of the sad things that the US has done is to le...

The more I think about this (I'm a low volt tech), it seems that Disney could track everyone in a park. This could be used for crowd control and other security issues. It could also be used for marketing. They would be able to track where people go and what attractions are being seen the most. Disn...

I suspect if we just kept it to one thread per park (in the appropriate forum), we'd be okay. And maybe one 'Outside of the Parks' thread for WDW to cover things like River Country. (And, if necessary, for DLR - I haven't been there so I don't know if they have out of the parks neglect or not). If ...

Good question. Maybe we could start a thread here to compile all that kind of information? See how much we really have... Good starting point. I'm thinking we take each park(DLR & WDW) and go land by land compiling a list. It makes since to figure out how many attractions/areas we're talking about ...

Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss! Still have a copy on VHS. I love this movie because it was set in a much gentler time when families still actually took to the road for those great summer vacations. :mickey:

For female voices, I do agree with Sigourney Weaver, Maggie Smith would be a good choice and maybe Bette Midler just because I would love to hear her voice again so I wouldn't have to go watch Hocus Pocus. Oh yeah...good choices...I also have to throw Whoopie in the mix. And I know this one is odd ...

Are there bike rentals at other resorts? We're staying at Contemporary this summer and hadn't considered biking as an option. But we'll have some down time not in the parks. I know rentals are available but I'm not sure they are located at the Contemporary Resort. You may have to go to another loca...
