I have been trying to find a way to let Disney runners see the training runs my wife and I do, and I think I have it. You can use this link: http://connect.garmin.com/explore#activityType=all&eventType=all&location=Birmingham%2C%20al%2C%20USA&owner=withspirit&sortField=relevance¤tPage=1 This s...

[quote="Polynesian Princess"] I have decided that's the stuff all runners seem to go through. My wife (see the earlier posts in this thread) has been going through a health challenge which has flared up just in time for the Princess Half Marathon. She will be there when you are (I can't get off...

Thanks! I think I'd feel more confident if I could have "trained", but can't control being sick! I'll just have to make do with these last few days and walk as much as I need to. :) I got sick exactly 2 weeks before the 2010 Half-Marathon. A week before the race I begged a doc-in-the-box for help (...

I get nervous before every race (I'm still not sure why  ). My wife will be there and running the Princess Half-Marathon the same weekend. Her Mom will be there with her and cheering her on. I ran my first race at Disney last fall (the last ever Tower of Terror 13K race). They certainly know h...

My family spent a week at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort last year and made tie-dyed t-shirts on two of the days. This was a supervised session by the resort staff. It was messy and loads of fun. My step-son (the artist) had the best results. We were so impressed we bought some tie-dye kits for ...

We usually stay at Old Key West and use the laundry regularly! We have less to pack, clothes are always clean, and no laundry to do when we get back home! :D

One stay in an area without laundry facilities and we knew how spoiled we were.

I liked the Native American part VERY much (I'm Cherokee). It was almost like being at a Pow-Wow. About time someone honored the original inhabitants.

Congrats! My DW and I honeymooned at WDW twice. We eloped the first time, and on our 10th anniversary we brought guests. My suggestions for some "don't miss(es)" are: Restaurants: Sanaa in Animal Kingdom Villas Flying Fish at Boardwalk Breakfast at Kona in the Polynesian Attractions: Draw some chara...

Hey, can I get a TARDIS too? It would save TIME AND RELATIVE DIMENSIONS IN SPACE on my patrol flights.
