Re: Your thoughts on the Reopening and the rules. Will You Attend?
I think a lot of the issues have to be with people still fearful of going and other areas having quarantine’s in place. I for one would be willing to take the trip but I am not allowed to travel yet due to my state restrictions as well as employment restrictions. Currently at 9 months of no Disney a...

Re: WDW removes Steven Tyler gesture from Preshow
As in the entire ride, when running at max, is still only putting through a fraction of what other rides do. Toy Story also has a similar problem, since the capacity of the ride is not as great, and it has constant stops for the show, it has a lower throughput. For GMR? Scene changes will not cut i...

Re: Mosquito Madness at the Mouse
It just sounds like Disney taking the necessary proactive steps (probably some of which are required by the state) to do the best at preventing the spread of Zika. I will say that Disney pest management is really busy and they do a lot of spraying that we don't ever know about or see during third sh...

Re: WDW removes Steven Tyler gesture from Preshow
Wait time is meaningless when the hourly volume is low. Considering it is going to have dramatic changes that get rid of the terrible design, it will be a welcome departure considering it is housed in the showcase building. The problem is... timeless films are not even timeless. Audience appeal for...

Re: wilderness construction
What is the pricing looking light at comparable places (I guess beach club won't count since they are right next to each other)? That is kind of the core, if they are not dropping rates for places being worked on then it is bad. Throw in that if you have to ask for it, then they are missing a step....

Re: WDW removes Steven Tyler gesture from Preshow
If the numbers are not able to support it, then yes you can easily write off any attraction. For example, Horizons closed because too few wanted to ride it. The reason I still stand by that most of the attractions in DHS are passes is that they are either boring shows, the same thing we have locall...

Re: The Return of Subsonic Fantasy Football
Hello zhoover: The league is currently filled for this year. However, I am double checking all of the managers to see if there is anyone who got renewed into this year's league but doesn't want to partake in the league. Secondly, there could always be a last minute back-out as well if someone confli...

Re: WDW removes Steven Tyler gesture from Preshow
Yeah... you can pull that with anyone other than band members... well pretty much anyone other that him and Joe Perry, since they are not quite as famous (yes, some did rise up but none are that famous). The funny thing is that if someone is offended by it, they would need to know what it means, an...

Re: wilderness construction
Which would probably be considered poor form for the hospitality industry. You don't want people coming back from vacation complaining that they were right by construction. If that literally was the only hotel on the property, they could have an excuse for trying to place people by the sites. Again...

Notice of Draft Time Change: As it seems like everyone is fine with the draft (I didn't hear back from you) I am going to assume that September 4th is fine. The only request I had was to possibly bump it back by 30 minutes to 8:30PM eastern. I see no issue honoring that request so the draft time wil...

Re: wilderness construction
They probably need to make that one clear, since one person's hindrance may be missed by another. Anyway, that would not surprise me that they do not disclose planned construction to guests. Super unethical, especially when you consider that closing sections of a resort also means a lower volume of...

Re: WDW removes Steven Tyler gesture from Preshow
Because Universal got mad that a Marvel brand was appearing in a WDW park and demanded the Shocker be removed. :D Anyway, considering they removed the photo shortly after launch (same gesture), my guess is that between waiting for tech to get good enough, probably getting approval from Tyler to mod...

Re: Orlando Rental Car Prices
After 8 years and many trips since last posting on this topic... I will say that Costco travel is the best. We have been able to get cars constantly for a decent price and we have to rent some sort of SUV due to health reasons.

Re: The Return of Subsonic Fantasy Football
Alright so I am back from WDW (sadly) and I just took care of this. An email has gone out to all the managers with this year's draft date and time. Looks to be Sunday September 4th at 8PM.
