Re: 2011 Food and Wine

Any answers to my original question? Do you think there is any chance of Food and Wine being held outside of DCA this year? (EPSOCT is not an option for me)>

Re: Disneyland Cravings!

New favorite is the Steak melt sandwich at the Carnation Cafe. That with a bowl of Loaded Potato soup and I am in Heaven. :goofy_bounce:

2011 Food and Wine

I am very disappointed that the Food and Wine Festival will not be held at DCA this year. However, the announcement seemed to leave it open to be held elsewhere. Has anyone heard such a rumor? Maybe at the hotels or something?

It is a bit farther than that. I am not great at guessing distances, but it would be nearly half a city block away. We often will jump back and forth several times a day. It will be a couple of hundred feet closer after the rebuild

A new idea for the peoplemover track

My kids and I were just sitting around talking about Disneyland and throwing out crazy ideas for Tomorrowland. What do you think of this one? Place Wall-e type 'fat-people' chairs on the Peoplemover track. Each chair would have a tv-like screen that tells details and trivia about each attraction as ...

In November, all of my family received Year of a Million Dreams lanyards and pins as we entered Turtle Talk. They must have handed out about 100. We have won Tinkerbell pins twice; once in DCA and once in EPCOT.

Adults only trip to Disneyland

In 20 plus trips to Disneyland, we have always had kids with us. In two weeks my wife and I are going for our 20th anniversary and are going without the kids. We are looking to do things that we have never done before because of the kids and the cost. So far, I have reservations to eat at the Blue B...

I have taken a look at some of the characters that they will be adding to Disneyland Hong Kong. They look very much in character with the original ride and I think they would bring an increase in popularity of Small World among today's kids AS LONG as they do not over do it. Check out the photos at ...

What do you think is the best value in food at Disneyland

The soup bowls in NOS were once the best value for a meal at Disneyland (before price increases and a decrease in the quality of the bread). Now I think that the Alfredo pasta at Redd Rockets Pizza Port is the best value. It is big enough for two people to share; especially if you add a little bread.

ANY TIME YOU CAN. But seriously, we try to go once in a while in mid-October to enjoy the Halloween decorations, etc and also the week before Thanksgivings to that we can enjoy the Christmas decorations and parade WITHOUT the big crowds.

I have also heard that it will be removed, but have heard nothing about what, if anything, will replace it.
